Assuming the IP04 is also linked on the local LAN.<br /> = Setup procedure =<br /> # Set IP address of your PC host ethernet interface temporarily to 192.168.1.99 (or anything you think think is available on 192.168.1.xx subnet, not 192.168.1.30).<br /> ## myPC&gt; ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.99/24<br /> # Check that the address 192.168.1.30 is not used<br /> ## myPC&gt; Ping 192.168.1.30 ... no replies.
