	Day one was filled with individuals with a general interest in science and technology in my view; they would appear to be locals who had been in the vicinity and delegates who were attending other conferences in the centre. The level of ICT understanding and general knowledge about the CSIR was quiet above expectation. I picked this up from the kind of questions these people would ask about the work we do here, some even went down to the minute details of the technology.		Day one was filled with individuals with a general interest in science and technology in my view; they would appear to be locals who had been in the vicinity and delegates who were attending other conferences in the centre. 			The INSITE 2008 kicked of on the 15th of September on a rather busy mode, seeing as the exhibition team only managed to set up on the very day. While other stands were busy exhibiting away, we were sweating busy fixing our “our rather smaller that usual” stand. With “Saloshni Naidoo” given skills, we made do with what we had and soon the set-up was finished and we got the show on the road.
