Urban revolution describes the emergence of community mesh networks worldwide. The change described is from the reliance on network operators in infrastructure provision, to community built, maintained and owned communication infrastructure. This is particularly useful in situations where traditional network operators are not adequately servicing certain communities, as it provides an alternative.
