To save adding a power of ethernet injector used in reverse. The power can be tapped off pins 4 and 5 (+) and 7 and 8 (-) and fed to the power jack point.

The two built in RP-TNC connectors are removed with a solder sucker a N-Type bulkhead female connector is then crimped onto the existing piece of pigtail.

Two capacitors need to be removed to isolate the power circuit from the ethernet circuit. These are normally bridged into the ethernet circuit to remove any noise on the line.

Aluminium case with mounting plate for mounting linksys board, notice white gland to seal ethernet cable and N-type builkhead mounted in in box.

One built up box in the background and one box with linksys board removed in the foreground.
